  • Reflexology

It’s all about the feet, hands and ears!

Perfect for individuals who are on their feet all day and need to put their feet up and unwind. And for anyone who is constantly using repetitive motion with their hands. Pressure is applied to different areas and pressure points of the feet, hands, and ears to help relieve tension from other parts of the body while slowly incorporating compression and massage techniques with oils, lotions, cremes and massage tools.

Note: This service should be avoided and is not recommended for persons who have foot or hand fractures, active gout, open wounds that have not healed. Persons who have osteoarthritis that impacts the range of motion of the foot, ankle, wrist or hand should first consult a doctor and have medical clearance prior to requesting this service.

  • Hot Stone

    Feling Hot! Hot! Hot!

Smooth black basalt stones are heated in a waterless temperature-controlled electric case at 110°F - 130°F. These stones which can range in size are then placed over sheets or towels on the person’s body or directly on skin that has been lubricated with oil or cremes. The heat of the stones will help penetrate deep into the skin and muscle tissues by easing stiffness and muscle tension. They can aid in the improvement of flexibility, range of motion, relaxation, improve sleep as well as allowing for a deeper massage in a gentle manner. A hot stone massage is similar to a Swedish massage but with an overall gliding effect of warmth throughout the whole body.

How It Works: Before a stone is placed on client, the stone is removed and the temperature is taken with a digital thermometer to make sure they are not too hot and are within the acceptable range; if they are too hot they will be set aside to cool down before the temperature is taken again and then used. The heat of the stones is transferred from the stone to the palms of the massage therapist and then to the person’s body for them to become acclimated to the warmth of the stone. If the person can tolerate this heat transference, then the stone is placed on the person’s skin or over the sheet or towel. Generally, it can take around 3 to 4 minutes for the heat of the stone to fully penetrate the skin. The massage therapist will be checking periodically with the client as to whether or not they can tolerate the heat/warmth of the massage stone. If they are too hot for the person receiving the massage, they will be removed immediately to prevent and minimize any chance of burns.

Note: Clients with medical conditions that provokes a lack of sensation in the body such as MS, neuropathy, high blood pressure, or uncontrolled diabetes are not recommended for this service.

  • Hot Bamboo

    Roll Me Out!

If you ever wondered what it would feel like to have an asphalt roller on your back, wonder no more! Hot cylindrical pieces of smooth bamboo varying in length are used to provide constant pressure over the body with the use of an oil or a creme to help the bamboo glide easily over the body.

  • Cupping

    Lift that skin!

Cupping or medicupping is a great tool for any person who is experiencing tight muscles, scarring, bursitis, plantar fasciatis, fibromyalgia, tendinitis or is experiencing a lack of muscle mobility. Special plastic cups are placed on skin that has been first massaged, and lubricated with massage oil or creme, air is then removed from the cup via manual suction allowing the skin to be raised. This is done from anywhere from 30 seconds to 3 minutes depending on client comfort, visible appearance of the skin and treatment goals. Cupping allows for any muscle adhesions to release while allowing any lymph fluid that may be stagnant in the muscle tissue(s) to flow once more.

Note: Persons with eczema or psoriasis should avoid this treatment as conditions can be exacerbated. This service on some clients can leave marks that resemble circular bruises that can take anywhere from a week or more to disappear which can be confused for physical abuse to persons unfamiliar with this treatment modality. If you have an event where the areas treated with cupping will be visible and your skin will be exposed, or you do not want these marks to be seen, consider booking this service after your event or with enough time for your skin to heal as marks may sometimes not show up immediately.

  • Deep Tissue

  • Infant & Children's Massage

Infant and children massage are gentle techniques designed to support the physical and emotional well-being of young individuals. For infants, massage aids in soothing colic, improving digestion, and enhancing sleep patterns. As children grow, massage therapy continues to offer significant benefits by relieving muscle tension, reducing anxiety, and promoting better sleep quality. It also improves circulation and flexibility, which are essential as children become more active. Massage creates a calming environment that strengthens emotional bonds and increases a child's sense of security and comfort. Integrating massage into a child's routine supports their overall physical health and emotional development in a natural and nurturing way.

NOTE: Parent or guardian consent is needed for anyone under the age of 18. A parent or guardian must be present during the entire duration of the session in the same room. Because infants can get fussy and children may be new to massage therapy, these sessions are typically limited to only 30 minutes long. If a parent or child at any moment wishes to terminate the session early, they may do so.

  • Kinesiology Taping

Kinesiology taping is a therapeutic technique that involves applying a special elastic tape to the skin to support muscles, joints, and ligaments without restricting movement. It is designed to improve circulation, reduce pain and inflammation, and aid in the recovery process from injuries or ongoing muscular issues.

People who benefit from kinesiology taping include athletes recovering from strains or sprains, individuals with chronic pain or inflammation, those with poor posture, and anyone needing additional support during physical activity.

The tape typically stays on for 3 to 5 days, depending on skin sensitivity and the area applied. It is water-resistant, so you can bathe or shower with the tape on, but avoid scrubbing the taped area to maintain adhesion and effectiveness.
